Perspectives for Biochar as a vehicle for inoculation of phosphate solubilizing bacteria: a review

Phosphorus (P) plays a vital role in many aspects of plant growth and development. The low amount available P agricultural soils reduces crop productivity phosphate fertilizers are often applied. However, due to the high affinity for soil constituents, availability this element becomes limited plants. Thus, alternative, ecological, low-cost techniques have been studied improve acquisition by crops. Microorganisms able solubilize P, mainly phosphate-solubilizing bacteria (PSB) stood out, since they offer an approach overcome scarcity their introduction systems via inoculants.
